I love your baby DT designs! (And just your DMC art in general.)
Do you have any design ideas for what Sparda was like (in demon form) when he was younger? I do kinda love the idea of him being some kind of demonic grub (briefly; I headcanon his species had a very short grub phase- made it easier to avoid being eaten), but also he's kinda a goat, too (I mean. He DOES have horns and even hooves, technically), so maybe he grew arms and legs quickly after that? Kinda like a tadpole? Thumbs and legs would make it easier to get around and solve puzzles, after all.
I have more baby/young Sparda ideas, but this is probably too much, sorry.
Hell yeah I wanna explore more designs like sparda's. I do think his is more challenging, his design is a weird blend of bug, goat, and knight. Like, it's pretty hard to tell what parts of his body are natural scutes/carapace vs if he's wearing armor. A grub phase you say? π
I also wanted to explore his human design, personally I'm not really satisfied with his dmc4 design or his portrait in dmc5 (Eva could do better π) if he doesn't give off Dracula casltevania vibes by the time I'm done with him, then I've failed.
Also something to explore: do demons and devils have familial relationships? Is there a demonic instinct for sparda to care about his sons, or is it rooted in his love of humans? I think sometimes people overlook that sparda is a demonic KNIGHT, and knights devote themselves to something. Could that something be his sons? Things to think about.
I have a couple ideas for the twins still (some angstyer than others) so keep an eye out for em
Thanks for the question! See ya
