I may have gone just the teeniest bit insane but I figured out how to extract the game files and subsequently ended up (accidentally) extracting ALL the model files for the game... so needless to say I'll be posting a lot of picks from that stuff as I have hundreds of assets to sort through. Anyway, main goal here was to get the Spardas because I wanted to see the details of their models up close. So without further ado, here's Nero:
Interestingly, Nero has Dante's eyes, not Vergil's. Nero is the top, Dante is the middle, and Vergil is the bottom, for comparison. Nero and Dante have the same blue-green eyes while Vergil's are so light they're almost white. Nero also seemingly got his mom's eyebrows as they're noticeably thicker than Vergil's.
It also looks like he might've had his left ear pierced at one point. This is likely just a leftover from the face model they scanned for Nero, but they left it in Nero's model regardless, so that's interesting haha.
And someone needs to teach Nero how to shave, or at least give the poor kid time to shave because he's got some significant, yet inconsistent, stubble. He really needs a shave. I play DMC5 with the high graphics settings and even then, you can only catch the stubble in certain scenes if you look for it, but it's SUPER noticeable on the model.
Like the rest of the Spardas, Nero also has the signature long, pretty eyelashses. Funnily enough, Nero's match his hair while both Dante and Vergil's are black.
Nero's skin has some little "imperfections" too-- you can see he has some acne marks. This is something Capcom does frequently with the RE Engine models, and I love it because it makes the characters look more realistic. Nero's aren't as noticeable as Leon's from RE, however.
Here's some close-up shots of his jewelry too! The rose bracelet has the same rose as his belt and ring from DMC4 (fitting, since his gun is Blue Rose) and the necklace has little wings on it that remind me of his wings in his DT form.
Nero (unlike Vergil) has some very sparse arm hair! Its hard to see, and it isn't a lot, but it's there.
And I think the most interesting thing I spotted was that Nero seems to have several scars near his elbow on his left arm?? I'm not sure if this is just an error with the mesh no one caught or if this was intentional but very interesting nonetheless!
His right hand has fucking TALONS too like jesus christ.
Bad news is Nero's ass is pretty flat. Good news (I guess, depending on your preferences) is what he lacks in ass he makes up for in dick as he does have a quite prominent bulge, fitting considering he canonically has the largest dick. (Yes, canonically, because that was a thing Capcom actually did talk about.)
