It was a rather slow day at the SDN office. Not a lot of horrible things were happening out in the city, which was great.
Luis exited the locker room while fixing up his hair. He had his surfboard right with him under his arm, as usual. He was ready to leave to go surfing, which was how he spent most of his free time, of course.
Not looking where he was going, he nearly hit someone with his surfboard, but they moved out of the way enough so that it didn't do too much damage—it only bumped them a little. Luis perked up and looked at the person he'd hit by mistake.
"Shit, sorry dude." He backed away a little as to not hit them again. He smiled and held up a hand apologetically.

The person he hit just so happened to be Elliot— Whom he knew as the rehabilitated villain, Thorn. She stood back up, giving him a slight smile, ‘No, no- It’s fine, really.’ She let out a chuckle.
She found the surfboard kind of amusing to have at an office setting like this. But she wasn’t judging, people had their things.
What interested her more was the fact she sort of recognized him.
Limonada?
Someone she never really interacted with, but had always been curious about.
‘Ahem. I think that surfboard’s pretty cool,’ She cut the silence, her voice like a knife to the tension that brewed in those few seconds.
> robo's wrench worked on the tool that they're currently building on, turns rough and slow as it forced their right hand to keep going despite the pain and strain - their eyebrows were furrowed.
> just had to re-tighten it.. then - the modifications would be done. it was easier than others, - especially considering it was handheld and light - so.. it wasn't too much work. just a few screws now..
"why is this 'waterboy' person so.. nice?"
"what gives?"
"making my self-worth worse before sonar builds it too high."

"listening to prism's songs. they're good."
"i'm gonna start hacking lights to turn off if i get ignored by my own team one more time."
robert isn't.. acting like usual.
ever since it came in for its shift today, its been.. quiet. and, yeah, it has quiet days - everyone knows it sometimes just doesn't want to talk - but it hasn't been communicating other ways, either. no writing, no typing, - except for dispatching - no physical movements, no noises..
its just..
silent.
it responds somewhat to others mentioning it and / or wanting its attention. head moving to them. expression shifting. communicating if needed. and then always.. wincing afterward..?
it hasn't moved from its desk despite it being time for a break. not yet. maybe not today at all - since its just staring at its screen blankly.
