Cultivo: Muy difícil de cultivar y de crecimiento muy lento. Requiere temperaturas invernales superiores a la gran mayoría de los cactus. En verano necesita riegos abundantes. El sustrato debe ser ácido. No tolera bien los trasplantes y le lleva tiempo recuperarse. Prefiere luz filtrada.
