Sinningia defoliata blooms straight from the tuber. It typically makes one big leaf that falls off before the blooms come. My plant tends to flower with the leaf still present. Itβs just coming into bloom on the plant stand in the west window. An amazing, easy-to-grow, long- lived gesneriad.
