Prior to Consciousness: You are referring to the state before the "I Am" sense arises.

The Witness: In this state, you do not identify with the body or mind.

Transience: Everything observed is a temporary appearance in consciousness, lacking independent reality.

The Illusion of Acquisition

Concepts: Knowledge, memories, and titles are temporary worldly acquisitions.

The Present Identity: The current persona is merely a conceptual construct.

Neti Neti: To find the truth, you must discard everything you are not ("not this, not this").

Finding True Peace

Self-Realization: Peace is not an acquisition; it is what remains when false identities are dropped.

Q : How can I know whom to trust and whom to be wary of ?

M : Trust no one until you are convinced. The true guru will never humiliate you, nor will he detach you from yourself. He will constantly bring you back to your inherent perfection and encourage you to seek within yourself, inwardly. He knows that you need nothing — not even him — and he never tires of reminding you of this. But one who has appointed himself as a guru is more interested in himself than in his disciples.

Can a Christian with the gift of the word of knowledge, use this gift to do things such as finding a boy lost in the woods or identifying/finding a murderer?
