"Dip down"

finally finished my submission for @jess-the-vampire ‘s contest. I think it turned out ok.

Hope is such a precious thing to hold onto.   While I was drawing Star yesterday I was reminded of this scene in The Battle For Mewni. She thinks she is dead and that all hope is lost, but uses all her strength to dig deep down inside herself and find the last remainder of hope and hold onto it. I know this scene would fit more into a prompt for the word hope, but this scene is truly precious to me, so there! Made it work. There are theories going around that Marco might be a relative of Star or not human because of the moons on his cheek… but I think it might have something to do with when Marco picked up the wand and said, “It’s like our souls are bonded.” Perhaps this comes from when they danced together at the blood moon ball together, a dance that is literally supposed to ‘bond souls together.’ So basically, my theory is that the reason Marco was able to use Star’s wand is because their souls are literally tired together.
