But whoms’t will give us Sweaty Gambeson pour femme?
Whoms’t?
NO WAIT BECAUSE I'M STILL OFFENDED
WHAT THE
FUCK
ABOUT ME IS REMINISCENT OF TIM DRAKE
Edit: I'm doing this again
2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 15, 20, 22, 23, 25, 27, 28
(cracks knuckles) let's do this!
2) Do you have a collection of anything?
Yes! I've mentioned in one or two other asks that I have a couple collections of keychains and rocks, but I also have a collection of fanzines :3 Especially Gravity Falls ones, of course. I have some PDFs of other ones, and I used to have a couple more GF ones, but I think I might have given those to one of my sisters. In the second picture, you can see I also have additional merch from some of the zines I've purchased (such as postcards, keychains, etc) Also, do movie collections count?
((Hey btw if anyone reading this has a copy of the gravity falls zine Summer Memories they're looking to part with, I would literally happily pay you for it. I did finally get a pdf of that one after so many years, but I would love a physical copy))
5) What’s your favourite piece of furniture and where did you get it?
Answered that one here ^^
6) What’s your go-to recipe when you want to make something that requires minimal effort?
OOOOH LEMME TELL YA
Pan-seared pork chops:
Grab however many pork chops you wanna cook, salt and pepper both sides, let sit for 20 minutes. Heat your skillet, add olive oil, use tongs to stack the pork chops in a bundle of 3 at most, sear them on their fatty side for a few minutes and then lay them on a flat side. Let them cook til that side is done, then flip them to the other side. Add butter, garlic cloves, and thyme (fresh or dried). Baste the chops in the melted butter, cook until that side is done (140 degrees if you wanna be sure). Boom, done. For even LESS effort, lemme tell you my favorite side dish (which goes so well with these pork chops btw)
Orzo and asparagus:
Fill a pot halfway with water, heat. Prepare asparagus (snap off ends, chop into approx 1 inch pieces). When water's boiling, add 1 cup of orzo and cook for 5 minutes (stirring occasionally, don't let it stick). After 5 minutes, add asparagus and cook together for 5 more minutes. Drain, return to pot. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and (at least) half a cup of parmesan cheese, stir quickly to melt. Slowly add 1 cup of whipping cream while stirring. Add more cream if you want it creamier, add more cheese if you want it cheesier. (Optional: add mozzarella or gruyere for extra cheesy goodness) Salt and pepper to taste. Boom, done.
I cannot express how much I freaking love orzo
8) Do you have kids? do you want them?
Not yet, and yes :3
9) Are you on good terms with your parents?
Absolutely! I miss them a lot, especially Mom. I got to go home and visit them for thanksgiving last year and cried a lot when we had to go back home ;; ("Home"? My husband's home? Still figuring that out I guess)
15) Do you collect anything?
?? Isn't this the same question as number 2? XD
20) What’s your favourite beverage?
Probably chocolate milk u3u Oooh and lemonade
22) Do you have nieces/nephews/godchildren/other kids in your life that aren’t yours?
Yes! Since marrying I've gained several nieces and nephews, all of whom are sweet, funny little goobers XD I'm also now friends with my husband's friend and his wife, who have the most adorable little kids. And I'm their favorite >:3 (No joke, the older one will yell "EMMYYYYY" when she sees me and come running for a hug, I cRYYY <33)
23) What’s the coolest place you’ve visited?
Hmmm. I don't get to travel a lot tbh, but I've been to California for a friend's wedding and that was a lot of fun :3 (Not a big crazy city like LA or anything, just a small town XD It was absolutely lovely) I've also been to Washington DC once when I was a kid and got to see pandas in the national zoo! That whole trip would probably be at the top of the list actually XD
25) would you rather own a dishwasher or a laundry machine if you could only have one or the other?
LAUNDRY MACHINE ARE YOU KIDDING?? I'll do dishes by hand any day, that's whatever, I've BEEN doing that for years, but washing laundry by hand??? Not to sound spoiled, but gosh no thank you.
27) What’s your favourite household chore?
Honestly? ....I really don't mind cleaning the toilet XD It's fast, it's easy, and it's really not that gross. (Unless you got like, some kind of nasty super scummy toilet. Scary....) Just squirt the blue stuff in, let it sit, or don't, then brush all over the inside. Easy :p
28) What chore do you hate the most?
Dusting. It's so tedious, it's never done, it's impossible to clean up ALL the dust, and whatever you just cleaned will be covered in dust again before the week's over. I hate it OTL
Thanks for the ask Anon!

Okay, so, of the Nublar Three is the Spoon, who's the Fork, and who's the Knife?
I’ve been reading Superbat fanfic lately and every time it becomes apparent the author is pulling from the Justice League (2017) movie and not the comics or cartoons I feel like I’ve been slapped in the face with a wet towel.
Carmilla is the only character in the novella who is described consistently with having a sweet voice. When she is introduced:
I could not see, for her face was turned from me, but she raised her head, evidently looking about her, and I heard a very sweet voice ask complainingly, “Where is mamma?”
And later
She is absolutely beautiful,” threw in Mademoiselle, who had peeped for a moment into the stranger’s room. “And such a sweet voice!” added Madame Perrodon.
Then while Laura plays with Carmilla's hair
I loved to let it down, tumbling with its own weight, as, in her room, she lay back in her chair talking in her sweet low voice
And much later, a mysterious voice springs into Laura's dreams
One night, instead of the voice I was accustomed to hear in the dark, I heard one, sweet and tender, and at the same time terrible, which said,
“Your mother warns you to beware of the assassin.” At the same time a light unexpectedly sprang up, and I saw Carmilla, standing, near the foot of my bed,
Mr Le Fanu. What did you mean by this. Why is that warning voice like Carmilla's? Come closer.
