Literally nothing will absolutely 100% spare you from the woes, endless sacrifices and one-sidedness of motherhood or single motherhood (that plenty and increasing quantities of mothers have voiced resentment over) â than if youâre incredibly intentional about not becoming a mother whatsoever. Protect and prioritize yourself that much, yes.
How about push choice? Push being more conscious on this as a woman. Push sexual education on womenâs health and wellness (among both men and women). Push divestment from family members in your life that personally shame you for being childfree as a woman who doesnât want or is on the fence about having children. Push being able to recognize when youâre being coerced into having babies (*concerning even partners that can apply or exacerbate that pressure). Push women to just say no and stand on sexual boundaries for their peace of mind and sense of self in the face of opposition. Fuck desire and baby fever and societal expectations and celebrities and wtf your parents want or your religious affiliation are yâall serious?? With the actual world going to complete shit?? How do yall just reach and reach and reach for reasons to bring children into this world for your own gratification that ultimately makes life so much harder for you; that make you resent so much in the long run?
