DIMMSDALE, CALIFORNIA -- After 10 seasons and a limited-series sequel of "A New Wish"… Former show creator of The Fairly OddParents (FOP) and current animator, illustrator & veteran personality "Butch Earl Hartman" unveiled in a newly uploaded YouTube video Friday morning (April 24th, 2026 -- Pacific U.S. time). Nickelodeon Action News and Negros Island TV8 first obtained exclusive details about the long-awaited wedding ceremony between the show's beloved characters.
The 10 y/o elementary student in Dimmsdale City from 2002, now 34 this year named "Timmy Tiberius Turner" officially married this weekend with a sister-in-law and former babysitter "Tootie Miller". Her first appearance was in the shorts of "Oh Yeah! Cartoons" and Seasons 2 to 7 aired on cable kids' television in America. For years, Tootie constantly fangirled over Turner throughout the series, harboring an unrequited crush that fans hoped would eventually be reciprocated.
For context, Nickelodeon cancelled FOP after Season 10, ending with a mixed out-of-order episode finale "The Kale Patch Caper" in April 2018, as well as the last remaining batches within its 2nd week onwards of the said month. While "A New Wish" follows a different perspective in late-May 2024, "Hazel Antoinette Wells" takes over after Turner with a possible new relationship with Devin Dimmadome. The production wrapped up in 2016 (excluding ANW), following Hartman stepping down from Nickelodeon and becoming a freelancer two (2) years later.
Tootie Miller has grown into the largest of platonic obsessors of Turner, being his established canonical wife. Vicky grew up to become a confident activist despite the concerned bully. Tootie was as loyal to him, while Trixie Tang was not. But in the end, the Trixie vs. Tootie argument was resolved through development: Trixie was a childhood fantasy that could have faltered with Timmy in the realities of adult devotion, whereas Tootie was a match who saw Turner at his worst and stuck by. Modern lore portrays them as a new married couple that is stable and happy, making it clear that the weird girl next door was the correct decision after all.
Hartman told Nickelodeon Action News and Negros Island TV8, per sources close to production, that there were three (3) different candidates whom they selected before committing to the marriage of Turner: Chloe Armstrong Carmichael, Trixie Tang, and Tootie. Yet, both Carmichael and Tang turned out to be untenable as potential partners due to suitability concerns, thus making Tootie Miller the most favorite character among devoted fans of the original series.
The FOP universe has endured in excess of two (2) decades of cosmic anarchy, unearned desires, and fairy godparents more than we can count, giving their own version of "I do" with the most decisiveness ever. Timmy Turner, formerly an elementary student who wished for his never-ending sandwiches of tasks, has officially married Tootie Miller in a forthcoming union this weekend in California. The couple, already off-camera, are now as adults declining to speak for a comment during an attempted ambush outdoor interview, taking pleasure in what we can only respectfully refer to as a spicy overnight honeymoon.
