I am fascinated by how tracing a photograph, even one INTENDED for use as an art reference, will get you accused of being a Thief and Hack Fake Artist but nobody bats an eye at people tracing 3d models. What's going on there.
But then again i think the problem is also very different perspectives on gender. Like some time ago I was questioning about being nonbinary but ultimately decided I didn’t feel comfortable identifying as such because fundamentally I don’t have any problem being a woman. Maybe. Still some confusion in there. But like fundamentally I think what I resent is being put in a box and having all these expectations put on me based on the fact that I’m a woman, which to me is a completely neutral fact comparable to saying that I have brown hair. Both of these are true and neither should be expected to have any influence on my personality whatsoever. And I do understand how this perspective might seem completely incompatible with the perspective of someone who is trans but honestly I don’t think it has to be. We can work something out together I think
BTW! i wanted to rec to everyone the poetry/nonfiction book citizen: an american lyric by claudia rankine. incredibly good book that i'd rec anyone but especially people who like sports (which.. fair to assume it's most people who follow this blog) bc there are really good chapters on racism and specifically antiblackness in tennis and football

Today I was thinking and I realized that although Darling Charming is my favorite character in all of Ever After High, I want the best for her, for her to be happy as a knight, etc., for her to be happy in general. I love her so much. Give her all the comfort in the world.
My second favorite EAH character is Daring Charming but I love him differently, but I also love to make him suffer, to make him suffer, Daring angst? Yeeees. But some comfort is also good so maybe a hurt/comfort with a lot of hurt and some comfort. Angst with happy ending? ñom ñom yes, I eat that shit. Let Daring suffer, mistreat him, destroy his life! And then comfort him with simple, soft comfort. I love him.
Different types of love towards characters. I think
chad is such a clown when he bugs troy about leotards in the first movie and in then in second admits he is/was a part of track and field tream and probably wore some leotard-like uniform at one point
