So if anyone remembers (what is wrong with you you read these posts?!) a few months back my mom said we weren't having a BBQ on the 4th because the kids cant be here because of Summer. I messaged my sister and "uncle" and said "hey, if you wanna get a refund on your race tickets please do because we aren't having a BBQ and I dont know that y'all wanna drive 4 hours just to run a race and leave". My sister then flipped out because I was "embarrassing her in front of her family" (the "uncle" and subsequent family members are my BILs family) and all I could do was laugh.
So she's not coming. She's going down the shore with her in laws. Mmhm. The in-laws were supposed to come too??
I messaged my "uncle" to ask if he'd be running (it's going to be crazy hot) and he said he doesnt know. But him, his husband (my BILs biological uncle), and my BILs aunts are coming. So...?????
They're al going out to eat at 3 around the corner from us. They're totally doing this for our convenience. There's a bucket load of...stuff that comes with that. But here's the kicker
If everyone had just NOT> FUCKING>FLIPPED OUT>AT>ME>IN>THE>FIRST>PLACE>WE>COULD>HAVE>CANCELED>AND>THERE>WOULDN"T>BE>ANY>ISSUES.
So now I feel like a fucking asshole because this is "my" run and I'm not running it because I'm not in shape, my sister dropped out without telling anyone until the other day when my mom asked, and uncle L most likely wont even run. But they're all driving 4 hours to get here, stay a night in a hotel, go out to eat, and then go home. And I probably wont go out to eat. So I'm even more of an asshole.
