Before you get married or move in together, go grocery shopping together. There is a difference between shopping for groceries and shopping for say clothes or electronics. And make sure you are shopping for food you'd both want.

When my husband (then boyfriend) and I were expecting our first child together, we ate out all the time. Every now and then I'd fix something for us at where I was living but since I was living with (yes this is messed up but I had nowhere else to go) my oldest son's biological father's grandmother, and my husband was renting a room from a friend of his, we didn't eat in much. It took literally a week before our sons was born before we found a place of our own and we had literally finished moving in the day I went into labor.

So picture this, on the way home from the hospital with a newborn, we stop at Walmart to get groceries. We argued over half the time about what to get. My husband doesn't like chicken unless it's KFC or Popeye's, nor does it like Italian food. I love baked chicken and basically anything Italian minus pesto. My husband loves spicy foods, like that man can eat a whole jar of jalapeno slices and not break a sweat. I'm a sweets girl. When I drink coffee (something else he's not a fan of) I put so much sugar it's basically coffee-flavored syrup.

the stands are interesting, sure, but the characters feel bleh and the story is not that exciting to me. Which is a shame because like I loved the concepts of the stands and their designs but the part just never clicked with me.
