2 Birthdays, 2 Birthday Weeks, Jack, a snapping turtle, the continued exploration of #minnehahacreek & the Bridges of @hennepincounty & movie stars - we had a lot of things going on . Bella turned 5 - @margomuschamp turned 25 or 35 or something Bella & Margo are enjoying their birthday weeks; Shay & I have been doing yeomen’s work to ensure they can relax 🙃 The movie stars, on their way to a shoot, & at the shoot, showing us their best “I can’t believe those rat bastards ate the last popsicle...” I’m guessing they’ll both be nominated for a Golden Globe in the next few years & an Emmy shortly thereafter. This #snappingturtle was moving so fast the shot was blurry - she was crossing #diamondlkrd on her way to #diamondlk - after I stopped traffic, a #naturalist jumped out of a car & scooped up the snapper & we walked to the lake - people cheered & honked. It was kind of like when I played for #realmadrid & won the ‘96 World Cup w/ that bicycle kick 🤗 @gruetwinery continues to be 1 of the best producers of #bubbly west of Champagne. Jack is embracing the #centenarian #lifestyle - he drinks more martinis 🍸 in the afternoon & eats whatever he wants, gout be damned, Jack wants steak & lobster & 3 helpings of é scalloped potatoes & maybe a little jello salad, for the health benefits 😬 All-in-all, #theweekthatwas was a week. I’m looking at 19 more days until summertime - #whenthelivinseasy 😶 & the water bill skyrockets ☹️ but at least we’ve got Roger, who recently got his cat #lifeguard certification, to watch the girls while they’re swimming.
