He's right around 10 years old, and he is full of mischief. A sweet kid, but he's ALWAYS getting himself into trouble.
Always running off, always stressing one of his parents, Koli, to hell. He's already taller than Aibek... He takes after Koli in his size.
Originally, he was a baby in the old blog, but I figured varying the ages of the younger characters would make for some more fun dynamics.
He absolutely ADORES Sandsong. He loves spending time with his little niece! And Sandsong loves when her uncle comes to visit.
Aibek is Ari's "biological" father. Daia and Vayu were planning to weave a child, but Vayu was badly injured by an attacking war machine on their way to a good place with plenty of energy, and her scarf was ripped so badly she could no longer weave. She didn't have the energy anymore, at least, not until her scarf healed and regrew. She was quite upset about this, so Daia decided to find another wayfarer to help her weave their child, and that other happened to be Aibek. Ari is fully grown now, older than he looks in fact.
Vayu was surprised, and very happy to have little Ari. Getting help from another is not at all uncommon. So Ari is actually part Nightkin, and Aibek is family!
Aibek, Koli and Dhaval are good friends with Ari and Sandsong. Song loves having another kid around to play with.
