I was on antidepressants for a while and have honestly been considering going back on them. They don't take away your depression exactly, they just soften it a little, make it so you can do a bit more of the things you yell yourself that u Gotta. I was worried for a while too but I was still the same me, just more energetic. I hope whatever you choose to do works out for you ��

I’m hoping that’s what they’ll do for me. Also, re: therapy, if I wasn’t in school I would, but I have so little time. I’ve been to therapy a few different time and it helps, but it also takes a lot of mental and emotional recovery time that is out of my reach at this point in my life, which is unfortunate. On the upside, every therapist I’ve ever had said I’m really good at managing my depression and using Good Coping Mechanisms for myself, so maybe I will b ok for now. Thank you <3

hey, i literally just got on antidepressants, like took my first one today, so im obviously not feeling the effects yet. but if you wanna talk about it and talk it out im here!
