If you have diabetes and use a CGM and have the extra money to spare, it's genuinely worth it to get the overpatches/patch tape in fun shapes and patterns. It makes me so much more happy to see a heart or star on my arm than a super medical looking patch to keep it on. I understand the urge to hide your CGM and not draw attention to it, I've done so a lot in my 7 ish months of being diabetic. But an overpatch not only helps your CGM stay on, but helps prevent infections that may happen from your CGM lifting slightly and allowing bacteria in, and covering it with something more colorful, at least for me, helps me feel de medicalized :)
I suggest expressionmed for fun patches, they have tons of shapes and patterns and colors for many different CGMs. They're the only brand I've found that's actually stuck on the whole time I have my CGM on, and also have many options for the CGM I use (dexcom g7).
