@alootus ... i love padme but the movies did not have enough for her fully, truly. where media lacks, milla provides. she fleshes out padme with such tenderness and understanding. she gets to live, breathe again ... or maybe for the first time ... here. the melancholia prose here is lovely. love a sad space princess (queen, senator). — "...having put them together in a way that'd made a solid shell for her soul to both rest and bloom. the beauty with golden locks and spring green eyes shone with confidence in her statement and padmé couldn't really find any doubt within her mind — her usual melancholia had found momentary peace as she was now basking in hara's light."

🌼 ― 𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑐𝑎𝑛𝑜𝑛𝑠

TOUCHY SUBJECT.  She doesn't feel bad for breaching the topic immediately.  No one ever wants to talk about anything  —she was no exception,  but they weren't talking about her  —were they?  Madonna's dark eyes flicker,  briefly,  from the glossy pages of her magazine.  National Geographic.  She likes the pictures of polar bears she's looking at.  They're apparently the deadliest kind of bear that you could possibly encounter,  and yet,  they were undeniably lovely to look at within the confines of the magazine's January issue.  Madonna lowers the magazine to her lap,  set in a lounging recline against the brocade French chaise lounge that stood in the middle of the carpeted hotel suite she currently occupied.  She looks at the other with a stern edge to her long-lashed eyes before speaking.   

Selah doesn't stop giving him a wide-eyed stare. She sits perfectly still at her kitchen table, hands folded on her lap. She assumes he has her radio turned up as loud as it can go, but it isn't really turned far past the half-way point.

Still, her neighbors may complain. The old man downstairs always has something to say.

she's coming off a 24 hour shift, but she also knows she has absolutely no edible food in her house, having put off grocery shopping for much too long, so she's at the grocery store in the early twilight hours thankful for 24 hour stores. it's when she's grabbing a container of raspberries that she feels a set of eyes on her and turns to see a tangle of dark hair and possibly blue eyes,

" hello, " natalie greets over the produce with a small smile, " can i help you with something ? oh did you want these raspberries ? "
