Words words words words words words words. Man my characters freaking love to pontificate don’t they? XD Heirs to the Throne is a black comedy noir set in the fictional city of Kindling, featuring a host of anthropomorphic characters of various races, but focusing on the wealthy elite of Draconic families. The idea was in development for around 10 years, originally intended as an illustrated art book/murder mystery hybrid that evolved into our first full-length graphic novel. You can read the comic as its uploaded here or at the website at: http://dennisillustration.co.uk/main/ & support the creation of the comic on Patreon at: https://www.patreon.com/lunarblazestudios You can buy the entirety of Chapter 1 for $1.99 at: https://gumroad.com/l/QBpGJ

Well my Immigration interview went Incredibly well, & in the next few months I'm going to be married in America to Ajahli, so woo hoo! As a celebration have not one but two pages of Heirs this week! Devillo, having gotten rid of his assigned lawyer, lets his mask slip a little as he begins investigating the house for his own reasons... Hey guys, just thought I'd give you a quick peek at a painting Im working on for the Portfolio. ATM not too sure if this is going to be a cover piece or just one of the interior prints, but really wanted to try something special with this one. Painted in Artrage for those who are interested in such things! This shows our main character Devillo (a totally separate entity at this point, not me the artist's persona to clarify the questions Ive been getting) hanging around outside his old family home the Devianti Mansion. Devillo apparently used to enjoy climbing the statue outside his family home as a child, & years later he still cant resist screwing around up there.
This was the base painting I made in Artrage, a rather cool painting program which I honestly havent used enough in the past year or so, its pretty affordable & you can pick it up on Steam of all places! I do intend to be showing off more of the Devianti manor (and explaining the story behind the statue) as more content is rolled out on first the Patreon then my public galleries, so stay tuned for more updates as they come through. Also as always if you have any questions or comments please ask below & I will do my best to answer them as quickly as I can!

Alrighty then, got some new pieces up on the Patreon & the past few days Ive been able to really catch up with producing content for the book myself & Ajahli are working on. Rather than flood you with content now & then have a few dry patches while we try to catch up we are on average going to try & produce 1-2 piece's a day so theres always something going on with our feed. Also please remember that after a week or so ALL content is made public so Paying Patrons are not only helping us to make this work but they get to see this content before anyone else. https://www.patreon.com/lunarblazestudios
FWA Update
Wow so it's been a while since I pulled my finger out & actually did some writing. Or much of anything, heh. So I'm over halfway through my vacation in Memphis with my Future-wife Ajahli & we have had some real interesting developments with our ongoing life situation. First of all we went to the Furry Weekend Atlanta convention, bloody amazing time, met some amazing people & was without a doubt the best convention I have ever been too. The problem with the local (Manchester UK) cons I've been to is that they are just over glorified shopping sprees where the small independent creators are all but shoved out, & the smaller cons I've been to in America were a little too poorly organised & ramshackle for my tastes. FWA was superb however. As well as hooking up with the AMAZING Adri Tibbs (who me & Ajahli have known for over 15 years now) we went to some damn interesting panels ranging from character design to writing compelling stories, & made enough notes to create our own book. Speaking of we did spend a small fortune on things as well, but frankly every single artist we saw at the convention was either amazing or awesome to talk to. Had a real blast & it's the sign of a good con that you feel guilty you don't have enough money to buy from EVERY artist there. We even saw a few faces from last years FangCon in Knoxville, & was fun catching up with those guys. The best thing of all though was hooking up with an artist from my own home town who was now living in America with his partner, who were both selling stuff at the convention. They put us in touch with their Immigration lawyer & after some tentative questions we are all but set to begin the process to get me living in Memphis with Ajahli! Very very cool stuff. Of course alongside the approx $2k we need for the marriage visa we are also looking into a new apartment, a green card & then a new job hopefully in the design industry. The process for the marriage visa is somewhere around 6-8 months so it's likely to be next year when the big move takes place. In the meantime we will be gearing up for the first major project Lunar Blaze will be undertaking. Can't talk too much about it yet but this one has had a lot of thought put into it, & we hope you guys enjoy it! It has been an interesting experience, & a really inspiring one overall. However it would be remiss of us to not admit that we were also a little frustrated at starting over at square one. Our followers from previous projects will know that we have been dipping our toes in different pools for several years now, & have had difficulty getting traction in the past, so seeing the huge variety of interesting & creative people doing well was a bit of a wake up call to step up our game. And we shall. Rest assured of that kids! Well that's all I can think of for now. We have a few more days before I'm forced to fly back to England once again, but at least this time we have a much stronger & solid plan for all the things to come. Things are going to be awesome guys. Honestly we are so excited for the things coming, just you wait! - Devillo.
This guy is AWESOME Â I love this song, and his cover is just as good.
