The summer is over, but here is a last summer greeting from Carter McMercury and his friends!

Introducing the Aninaut Studios mascot, the Aninaut! A somewhat rough take, but you will be seeing more of the Aninaut.

Carter McMercury again, this time a concept painting. Looks like somebody pushed Carter too far this time!We are working on a short film/pilot episode wit Carter so keep your eyes peeled for more on that!

This is the concept art for an untitled project that is currently on ice. It's got a twist on Scandinavian folk lore surrounding trolls and a exploration into what would happen if trolls existed in the real world and the dangers of using a source for power that can destroy your enviroment.  

Carter again! This time the turnaround from the model sheet. Just a little peak into the workings of the character from an animation perspective. Stay tuned!

Concept art from a film project we are trying to get funded. It's a story about being different with abstract and expressionist elements. It will be 2D handrawn and the colours of the central character will be swirling around the surface of the skin. It will be a visual feast if we can get it made.

Promotional video made for Ulstein during our second year at Volda University College. They wanted something a little ...different for this one

A teaser/pilot for a planned web-series, that we produced during the Animation Film Production course at Volda University College, 2016. The main production was done over a period of 6 months. We will continue to develop the concept beyond this pilot and hopefully you will see more of it in the future. But for now we hope you may enjoy our first attempt at a pilot!
