Id like to enter a new contestant into the Krapfen vs Pfannkuchen vs Berliner race

Hi!  I think part of the answer is probably, “Just don’t think about it too hard.” but I believe the idea is that the Republic Cruisers (they weren’t Star Destroyers yet, IIRC that wasn’t until later in the Clone Wars that they were called that)(though, sometimes they’re called Jedi Cruisers because they were associated with the Jedi/led by the Jedi, even though officially they were Republic ships) were too massive to bring into orbit to easily get them back out again, so you had to keep them in space. What we see in Attack of the Clones aren’t Republic Cruisers, but I think instead they’re Acclamator Assault Ships:

As you can see, they’re not quite big enough to be Cruisers when looking at them in comparison to the gunships and, while some of the angles aren’t as clear, the one from underneath shows it’s too much of a shorter triangle to be a Cruiser and looks more like the Acclamator class, which I believe doesn’t have the same firepower yet seems to be able to come into atmosphere more easily! It’s the same for The Clone Wars episode “Kidnapped” where Anakin’s ship comes into the atmosphere, it’s an Accalamator class ship:

In the description (from Encyclopedia of Starfighters and Other Vehicles) says:  “Unlike many craft of this size, Acclamator-class assault ships can land on planets, where they deploy Republic forces in an effort to retake the worlds from Separatist control.” It doesn’t say why these ones (which are still 3/4ths the size) are able to land on planets while the bigger ones can’t, but the specs seem like their weapons capabilities are far lower than the Cruisers, which idk may have something to do with the weight of them? So, until it’s said otherwise, I’m assuming the Acclamator class ships didn’t have the power to do a bombardment within atmosphere that was worth the effort it would take to get such a large ship into orbit, it was really only useful for landing a bunch of troops when you needed actual individuals on the ground, like in AOTC or TCW. Bonus info on the ship from Ships of the Galaxy, because I went down this rabbit hole of chasing after any canon info I could find on them, even though it doesn’t really illuminate your specific question:

This is a very interesting question because I definitely assumed for a while there that the Folly proper was a no-go zone for technology, largely based on Peter getting the diversion put in for the landline. But as early as Body Work Molly is passively-aggressively bringing Nightingale his phone on a silver platter, and I swear at some point a no-devices-at-the-table rule is mentioned but it must be in a comic because it’s not in either of THT or TFS. So 1) everybody is resigning themselves to the risk of accidental electronic device destruction (no Apple devices for anybody, I’m guessing!) and 2) either the Folly generally doesn’t degrade things or it does it so slowly it hasn’t been a problem yet. 

All that being said, we also know it’s actual silicon chips which get buggered - older electrical devices are fine - so in theory an old TV would have been fine in the Folly no matter what. It’s very possible that they had one at some point which stopped working and wasn’t replaced...or that the reason they didn’t have one was that the building is large enough it would require a proper aerial, and that would count as wiring breaching the Folly protections and so never happened. 

On the third hand, Molly’s room is in the attic, so new theory: Molly has had an old-style TV in her room with a bunny-ears aerial for decades and just never mentioned it to anybody. Analog transmission in London was switched off the year Peter came to the Folly and installed a modern television, 2012 - so it works out perfectly!
