Personality and Backstory:

Atomu Shimizu was part of an experiment that was linked to certain cells of a genius infused into a child of commoners… part of these cells were used for another experiment, an Homunculus called Eiji… and so these two children from the start grew up with different expectations from the start. Atomu grew up pretty gifted and understanding things quickly… however he also understood quickly how rotten the people around him were and how many humans only did things for their own self benefit. Lying, Stealing, using another's affections and words… Eventually he grew tired of other people around him and instead started focusing on Nature and the simple things, grabbing any book he can find and studying it to at least still make his parents seem like he is doing what they want but… he already noticed how over time he didn’t see them as normal anymore… more as twisted beings that he was disgusted to be nearby… This was similar for most people he met… with one exception… in the slums he grew up in they were children who were discarded… turning into monsters and running around uncontrolled… and to him they were the only ones he saw in better light… discarded by society… thrown away… yet they still fought to live… It was inspiring to him.

Watching a certain young boy turning half monster… being hit and treated terrible by his adopted parents… Atomu saw a drive of justice grew in him… a feeling that he wanted to stop it… leading to his first kill… stabbing them with a glass shard in an alley way and hiding the bodies in bags… he was only 8 at this point… but the feeling of it finally made him feel happy for once… maybe his eyes were a gift… that he could see the unjust… and in this area nobody would look for those missing given it already was a hell hole…

Eventually his parents disappeared as well thanks to his doings… and he began thinking… how could he change the world his own way… this drove him on a spree of planned killings against the ones who in his eyes were the most disgusting, hiding it under an inviting smile and manipulating things as he learned from the people around him. Yet he eventually also began to question himself once he entered middle school… his target a very popular Bully form his school called Aminella… a quite loud foulmouthed Princess to him who pushed most people down and so he also used his newly discovered ability he did discover shortly before coming to middle school to Fool her… pretending to be a friend of hers inviting her to a party… but the main goal of his was to strangle her… making her think it was her former friend group… wrapping his hands around her throat and strangling her to death. Yet for once after he finished up a kill he noticed.. how many people mourned and were sad for her… some of them calling her misunderstood or misguided… it pissed him off… she was rotten, terrible… why weren’t they relieved she was gone… Since then his view changed… he started to get to know his classmates more… trying to clear his old blood off his vest. watching the people even if to him it was a pain to be around them… and aside monster blood he found another exception.. slowly a small group of students looked normal to him. He slowly grew even better to adapt to social groups yet… he never really felt fulfilled… even gave into love once but broke it up… cause… it didn’t cause the same satisfaction as his previous justice… but also didn’t cause him the harm the last death caused… 

Looking through his old abandoned home he noticed some letters… and found out about Eiji… the homunculus related to him… and met up with him in curiosity… just to find out if he turned out similar to him and… little did he know their feelings about killing were quite similar… hearing he would transfer to NRC Atomu wanted to keep the contact… in case he wanted to go back to his old ways. 

Eventually with his Genius he was invited to HSA, them not knowing how many atrocities he caused given him covering up his tracks the whole time… yet one person became an issue to him. A ghost girl from his own Dormitory known as Ame and… when he first saw her… it was the same face he saw that night… when he wrapped his hands around her neck… for the first time in his life he was shocked. To his luck she didn’t recognize him nor remember anything about what he did yet he knew from now on to be careful…

Nowadays he only uses his Social skills in case to get Eiji more material, not dirtying his own hand but has a goal to eventually gain enough influence to go into politics and see if he can change something about those who deserve Punishment himself… He also won over Yasuno as Reaper who was making sure Ame was keeping her distance from him, in case old memories bother him. And so Atomu still lives with his twisted view… his eyes clouded by a misguided Justice… and all hidden between a smile that pretends everything is fine… that his health isn’t declining… that he will eventually find those precious to him… and lose this bloodlust boiling inside him… not knowing the monster he himself became.

Personality and Backstory:

As she was 16 years old, Yurina was all over the net as the young promising Detective from the slums. Having grown up in the worst environment of the Interstate hill slums she knew how it was being at the bottom... having to fend for your life but... thanks to being usefull to the local police in solving little crimes... she slowly could make her way top side with her Parents even relying on her money to live a more decent life... the more publicity... the more she was on TV the more Yurina became a little legend who solved one crime after another... however her biggest downfall was how easy attached she grew to people... At the age of 18 she fell in love with a young scientist who to her was the love of her life. However next year was the downfall of her reputation... her love vanished after she heard the news that she was pregnant... and she couldn't really solve more crimes like this... worse older crimes she solved turned out as innocent and she was to blame. And so Yurina fell into obscurity... many didn't take her much seriously anymore... others straight up had a bad picture of her, that she only tried to use others to climb to fame before. However despite the times... there was at least a group of people that believed in her.

Yurina usually seems easy to talk to but she can be quite the coward... thinking of her well being first and then the others. After being pushed down so much she just accepted it and at first wants to keep a low Profile till she finds the right case. She is quite pessimistic, having seen the worst of the world but still wants to one day wants to give her son a better future so he won't end like her. Can be Cynical if not often Sarcastic but.. she means well... however its possible that she would sacrefice a lot to acheive her own happiness.... even if it means by loosing some moralty.

Not knowing who she is, how she died and how she got here, similar to Yasuno, Ame was revived as Shinigami by Odel, doing his bidding with errands and getting infos. Compared to Kuze she doesn't look for her old memories and connections but she does feel a connection to her dorm leader. Compared to Yasuno she is also far more ghostly as a shinigami given Odels magic had an influence to it. She can manifest most of the time but also often just fades through the wall for fun... In general Ame may seem cute and attention seeking but she can be pretty mean. Falls very quickly in love and calls anyone who would be close to her "Master" an arrange of insults. Has an invisible chain that often connects her to the one she choses as master and she prefers to go after souls of criminals and follow them to see what kinda atrocities they commited.... her view of death may be the most neutral compared to others, she has a fascination for mysteries that come with a death that occured.

The marks on her neck she assumed are from a strangulation when she was still alive and given someone did this to her she assumes it was cause she was popular before.
