MINOR ZOM 100 MANGA SPOILERS AHEAD just about a manga only character

ok so i do age myself up for this one im 20 when me and akira meet (he is 21 when we meet) in college

once again im from america i came to japan from america for college to become a voice actor in japan!! i get into rugby with akira, kencho and takemina AND meet my best friend (irl best friend whose lore with takemina is intertwined with my lore with akira heh) who is takemina's gf so thats pur little friendgroup its me, akira, kencho, takemina and my bff ellie

me and akira get together in college we have our college romance and when we get out of college we decide to live by ourselves for a while while we get settled into our careers while ellie and takemina move in together (important i promise)

if you have watched zom100 obviously you know how akira's job goes but just in case! akira quickly learns that his job is not at All what it seemed to be and he is worked to the bone, depressed, he's barely keeping himself alive

my job is admittedly much easier and i love my job but i receive backlash from the fandoms of the shows i voice in, people question why i'm voicing in a dub if i live in japan, and people question why i'm voicing in sub if japanese isn't my first language i just can't win with the fans either way 😞 not nearly as bad as what akira goes through tho im so sorry akira

(this next part can be summarized but i started writing it and i was way more in depth than i had to be sorry i yap So Much but theres a tldr at the end of this section lmao)

two years after we all graduate from college, the whole friendgroup decides it's time to go out for hot pot together! (this replaces the fight between kencho and akira, again if you've watched the anime/read the manga)

akira is... irritable, ellie and takemina seem to be arguing all the time and all kencho does is brag about his job and his new girlfriend of the week, so as you can guess.. the hot pot doesn't go very well 💔

it kinda starts with ellie and akira fighting about whose job is worse. ellie has to work two customer service jobs because takemina can't hold a job and has a gambling addiction, and a customer service job sounds like HEAVEN to akira, but ellie would love an office job

then, akira and i start fighting because i'm trying to defend both of them because neither of them know what the other's job is like ... at all, and akira says "who are you to say whose job is harder, when you don't even have a real job?"

its never really stated exactly what akira's job is, but since we know he works in production and his office (in the anime) is based off of OLM studio ive kinda headcanoned that his studio is an animation studio, so he goes on to say that my job wouldn't exist without his

kencho butts in but EVERYONE is pretty fed up with kencho already so everyone starts yelling at him for being an asshole 😭

ellie and takemina start fighting again because takemina can't hold a job, and end up breaking up right there in the hot pot restaurant

trying to put the argument behind us, i actually ask akira if he'd wanna move in with me so he can quit his job and find a new one, then when we can afford it together get a bigger place. he says im undermining him and saying i act all high and mighty and stuff and he breaks up with me right at the table too

takemina obviously doesn't have anywhere to move out to, so as we're leaving i offer them to stay with me since.. obviously akira doesn't want to... and THIS starts a fight between me and ellie AND akira and takemina

tldr; after the fight during dinner, ellie and takemina break up, akira and i are broken up, everyone is pissed at kencho and no one talks to each other after this whole fight except for me and takemina for a whole year.

so a year later me and takemina eventually moved to osaka together, just before tokyo is overrun with zombies

osaka isn't much better... the zombies there are more aggressive even 😭 but we find sanctuary at the osaka castle where we start trading stuff we find in the city for cans of food

by this point we assume all of our friends are dead because they were all in tokyo and again, tokyo is completely overrun. we don't have much hope of seeing them again because we didn't even tell them we were moving to osaka, so when takemina finds them on a run (+ shizuka and bea) its a beautiful happy reunion i promise

uhmm!! obviously takemina and ellie get back together, me and akira get back together and everyone is happy uhh regular zom100 story from there you know it but also me and akira find a gender affirming surgeon (we're t4t) somehow don't ask questions it's zom100 they go to space so finding a surgeon isn't that much of a stretch
