one thing i really respect about Zom100 is its refusal to go the "The real monsters were humans all along" route, many zombie apocalypsides try.
Especially since one of its main themes is how the apocalypse is better than japanese capitalism. I think the series has a deep love of humanity and correctly diagnoses systems of unjust power as the problem instead of, like the human greedy nature etc.
The last of us wishes it was as deep as an anime with multiple fart jokes.

I just started watching zom 100 and akira n kencho are so gay. like they THOSE kinda gays.
in kencho's seemingly last moments, he doesn't only think of his 'best friend' (we all know it's the love of his life, his shawty, his wife), he thinks of his LAUGH and how he always laughed at his jokes. that's so home of sexual.
when they met up, the first thing akira did was apologize for being a Debbie downer all while saving his life like if was nothing. akira also brought the man's will to live and sparkle back.
kencho really said "oh this is your bucket list??? well, now it's OUR bucketlist"????? GAY
and when kencho showed off the newly blond hair and Akira was absolutely Smitten. the look on his face. mans is head over heels.
