favourite thing abt the vengeance route is the irony of it. in order to avenge the other humans clover has to wipe out all- [glances over to the spoon amalgamate]- most existing memory of what integrity did.
in the process of trying to seek vengeance they ensure that at least one of the kids are almost wholly forgotten. and thats like. really cool actually???? they didn't even achieve their goal???? they have no idea what these kids were like????

Oh my fucking god you're right. You're RIGHT. I've never thought about that before oh my god.
Without their actions there, more of integrity's memory lives on, even if it's amongst regrets and tragedy. It lived with axis, with dalv, somewhat with ceroba, and now all of those memories and perspectives are lost to the wind. Hell, even amongst the regular encounters there might've been monsters who came across integrity and could've shared something about them, but that's all gone now.
And the other humans... Some of them may have gone willingly, had close friends and those they considered family among the monsters, could've been kids who made a choice similar to chara or pacifist clover, who'd be devastated and horrified with clover's actions in vengeance. They've got extreme tunnel vision at this point and aren't really getting justice for anyone - rather justifying their actions using people who have no way of expressing any opposition to what they're doing.
They've been dragged so far down past the strong sense of morality we know them to normally stand by and that's fascinating.
