*hugs* Good luck at the dentists. I also have a question, do you have any writing tips for how to add flavor to one's writing so it sounds more interesting and enjoyable for the reader?
Thank you! It was fine, nothing bad :)
Something I’ve really been enjoying (and I think other people like as well?) is writing certain actions/expressions in an unconventional way. For example:
“The words fell from his tongue like venom.” rather than “He sneered.”
“Her eyes were dripping with sadness.” rather than “Her eyes looked sad.”
“A bright smile painted it’s way across their face.” rather than “They smiled.”
Obviously, don’t do this all the time, just when you feel like sentences are a bit dull ;)
Also: Don’t be afraid to describe the situation/a character’s emotions! I’ve only recently grew comfortable with getting more wordy and I think it’s greatly approved since :D
