"Hey, so, by the way- this is actually my worst fear."
Another prompt by @deniigi , another fanfic by me. This time it's on what happened to MCU Parker (kinda, I mess with a few things). Since I haven't seen FFH, as far as I'm concerned, Peter shows up to the UK, then falls off the face of the earth, into a different New York. Also post ITSV. Murderdock is still Matt, right? So this counts?

"Owwww..." Peter moaned. His head hurt. His shoulder hurt. So did his knees and toes and everything in between. He opened his eyes. A redhead adult, wearing dark sunglasses, looked back at him, his head cocked to the side.
"Hello... sir... I'll be out of your way..."
"Interesting. Could I ask for a favor?"
"Uhhh... sure?"
"I'm a poor blind man, who appears to have lost my way home. Could you possibly guide me back there?"
"Uhhh... sure? I'm not familiar with the area."
"Oh," the redhead smiled, a sinister grin. "That won't be a problem. Just tell me what street we are on and I'll give you directions. Also, if you could tell me if we're approaching a step, that would be helpful." He grabbed Peter's elbow, a little too tightly. They started walking, Peter calling out street signs, and the redhead giving directions.
Peter stared at him for a while. "I'm sorry if this is rude, but you look familiar. Have I met you before?" Peter had a strange sense of deja vu.
He smiled that toothy grin again. "I'm Matt Murdock." Peter tensed up. This wasn't Matt. "Ah, so you have heard of me before? Probably in the papers, I was in them a few weeks back. Big lawsuit. Left." They resumed walking.
"Ah, I don't believe I caught your name. What is it?"
"Peter, Peter Parker?"
"Oh, like the boy that died a few weeks back?"
He supposed he died a few weeks back-- or five years, depending on your perspective.
"Yeah."
"Such a shame. He was so young." They continued to walk in silence, turning down an alley, until they passed a hooded figure in mostly white, but black leggings and blue ballerina shoes.
"You know, it is interesting," the redhead smiled, "that you turn up, with the same name, soon after he died."
"Yeah," Peter gulped, "I suppose it is." He looked back to where the figure in white was, but they were gone.
"Murdock." A voice came from above.
"Ah, the Spiderwoman. Exciting. I should introduce you to a friend I made."
"How about you leave him alone?"
"Oh this fine young gentleman was escorting me home. What did he say his name was? Oh dear, I do seem to have a poor memory." He tapped his finger on his chin. "Oh, yes, it was Peter Parker. How fascinating, considering you killed the first one."
"Get away from him you creep!" She yelled, and pounced. Peter rolled away, but this person... she had web shooters, and webbed them at Murdock. He easily dodged them.
"Look, Gwen, I don't want to have to fight you, but really, you must not be feeling well. Coming after a poor lawyer like me. And why is that, hmmm? Didn't like the outcome of the Fisk trial?" He laughed. "And here I was, about to tell you the news that Peter isn't dead after all." He unfolded his cane, and tapped away.
Gwen then webbed Peter.

Peter eventually convinced her that he wasn't evil, and that he wasn't her Peter.
"Soooo... what's up with Murdock?" He then asked.
"What do you mean, what's up with Murdock?"
"That Matt's behavior is weird. Like, real weird. I know him from my universe. Nicest guy you could ever meet. Tons of Catholic guilt. Like, by the way, this is actually my worst fear. No joke."
"Ah, you have one of the good ones. Drat." Gwen pulled out a laptop. "Come here. Let me show you something." She uploaded an extensive spreadsheet. "This is every single universe the group has encountered, and a catalogue of their similarities and differences." She started typing. "Every universe but mine has a good Murdock. Mine's a psycho."
"Still, there's got to be some similarities." Peter thought about it. "Friends. Does yours know a guy named Foggy Nelson?"
"The DA?"
"I guess? Anyways, best friend of Matt in my universe. Matt's mildly obsessed with him."
"Hmmm...Murderdock has tried to kidnap the DA, though that's probably more for nefarious purposes than obsession..." Gwen typed into her computer. "Okay, now tell me about the rest of your universe."
