been there and it /sucks/. what i do is take care of them first thing in the morning, and do it all at once so i’m in the zone anyways - it’s become an habit now (but like any habit i sometimes slip if i’m feeling low). but maybe this isn’t the best method for you; what you can do then is spread it out during the day/week. either way, make sure everything you need is close to the plants. i keep a bottle of water, always full, next to them, so all i gotta do is do the do, no extra steps requiredalso, it’s just fine to downsize your plant collection if they’re too much of a hassle. it’s sad to let them go, but sadder to see them die. you may become more motivated to care for fewer plants, since it’s simpler. you could give the ones you give up to friends, so you’ll know how they are doingand maybe you could get a babysitter of sorts, while you’re running low on energy. if you live with someone, ask if they can do the caring for you, at least for a while. or ask for someone else to take them for a bitlastly, make your plants self sufficient if you can. self watering pots, covering the soil with cling film, this sort of stuff you’d do when you’re traveling. it really lowers maintenance
