More than once I have referred to our neighbors to the north as Canadia. Don't blame me, blame English demonyms.
Omg @figfull 's use of the term "wind flighter" is making me think. What are the different demonyms in sornieth?
As someone in wind flight myself, i almost exclusively refer to myself and my dragons as "windies". I use -ling a lot for other flights - earthling, shadowling, plagueling, natureling... I've used Arcanite before. I dont think I have anything for fire water ice or lightning though
I've also seen plague people/dragons called germs, and nature people/dragons called saplings. I wonder what other terms are out there...
Edit thanks to people in the notes: ice is icicles, water is droplets, lightning is sparks, earth is pebbles/earthies, fire is embers, light is acolights, shadow can be gooplings/inklings/voidlings

Iacon -> Iaconian
Polyhex -> Polyhexian
Altihex -> Altihexian

Here are the ones that are not so simple:

me parece algo injusto que el único gentilicio en inglés para los estadounidenses sea 'american' (por obvias razones para todos los que habitamos el continente americano) pero he encontrado en internet que otra posible manera de llamarles es 'united statesians' lo cual es muy triste porque es muy feo incluso pronunciarlo... :(

Unusually long words
Words are fascinating. Etymology of words even more so. English has a pretty large “working vocabulary” with lots of synonyms, but I think in general each synonym conveys a slightly nuanced meaning. There is often just the right word needed somewhere in the pile of synonyms. (more…)
