This delicious panini has slices of fragrant rosemary focaccia, sweet nectarines, and creamy Fontina cheese. The prosciutto is salty and rich, and the nectarines are juicy and sweet. Every bite has just the right amount of flavors and textures.
Ingredients: 4 slices rosemary focaccia bread. 8 slices prosciutto. 1 nectarine, thinly sliced. 4 oz Fontina cheese, thinly sliced. 1 tbsp olive oil.
Instructions: Set a grill pan or pan for making sandwiches on medium heat. Put olive oil on one side of each focaccia slice. On the side of two focaccia slices that hasn't been oiled, put slices of prosciutto, nectarine, and Fontina cheese. Add the last few slices of focaccia on top, making sure the oiled side faces out. This will take about 3 to 4 minutes of cooking on a grill pan or panini press until the bread is golden brown and the cheese melts. Take it off the heat, cut it in half, and serve it hot.
