Deca-Dence Opening

For HAGFISH DAY I am also going to share my review of the anime series Deca-Dence, which was previewed on my Patreon earlier this year.
This anime has an extremely unique and absurd twist revealed in only the very second episode.....but more than one internet reviewer completely misunderstood what was going on and even gave the series a negative review as a result!
Deca dence EP1: woah this is a neat way for the world's monsters to facilitate freedom of movement and creativity of the fights. using their own defense mechanism and their blood as a way to kill them and run the human's failing machinery makes for fantastic worldbuilding implications.
but, is it strange to say, that this entire ecology feels a bit... videogamey?
