I'm so glad that you like my crossover au! Tails as Jounouchi is one of the ones that I was skeptical of at first, but then it grew on me.

I think Tails definitely used to be part of a gang- mainly due to his two Tails (big fish little fish metaphor, etc. etc). As a child with neglectful parents, he needed to grow up quickly to keep himself and his baby sister afloat, and because of his superior intellect, it was all too easy to fit in with the 'big kids' and become a delinquent to remain outside of the bullying firing range. This is made easier, somehow, when he skips a couple grades, although he distances himself from them after only two years when he realises early-on that being a part of a gang does more harm than good.

Despite being much younger than the rest of the yugang, Tails is a strong physical fighter. Although he prefers to rely on his technology, years on the streets haven't gone to waste in honing his street smarts, and he knows at the very least how to use his tails to give him an advantage in combat.

In death-t for example, most of Tails' technology is confiscated, so he needs to use his knowledge in other ways, especially during the fighting segments. I think I made him look pretty badass in this panel redraw :)

What technology he uses outside of death-t probably depends on the situation (he's a smart kid). A yoyo gun is definitely very interesting, and now that you've put that into my brain, I might just steal that idea lol.

YES, HONDA IS KNUCKLES HOW DID YOU KNOW LOL. More on him later, but I think Honda's bluntness and chivalry- along with mainly resolving altercations via his fists- makes him a great Knuckles.

that actually makes it sadder since kaibacorp is still running completely fine, seto literally finished orchestrating the construction of a theme park (which he was doing himself anyway) WHILST keeping up his public image WHILST running the rest of the company too

Gozaburō and Noah were both naturally green-haired, with Gozaburō going grey in his early 20s under work stress. The black portions visible in-series were all worked through with dye—wishing not to be perceived as old (and hence King Lear-adjacent), Gozaburō did his damndest to conceal the loss of colour. Seto and Mokuba, meanwhile, are both naturally black-haired. When the old tyrant died, Seto felt an inexorable sense of loss—he had wasted any chances he'd had of connecting to his adoptive family, leaving him locked away from late stepbrother and stepfather alike. To worsen things, Kaiba had absolutely no intention of engaging with his emotions—feeling means vulnerability, after all. Hence, he didn't know how to grieve. Dying his hair green was his odd way of mourning: After all, he was becoming the lost whom he could never love. It wasn't helpful—a certain agony filled Seto each time he peered in the mirror, but he wouldn't dare acknowledge any pain he felt. He was fine, absolutely fine, wasn't he?
