Not enough people talk about how tragic Death Note is from Matsuda’s perspective. He was naive and got picked on countless times, but still risked his life over and over for the case(esp in the manga). And yet, practically everyone he looked up to ended up dying. And imo he saw Light as a brother considering Chief Yagami was like a father figure to him, so Light being Kira was especially hard on him. I could go on and on but you get the idea 😭

Teru Mikami is emo, and here's why:

Right off the bat, you can see that their hair resembles the hairstyle that's classified as 'emo'
And even if he doesn't wear all the makeup or dress emo, is because he's a prosecutor, and in most jobs, they have dress codes, or he just doesn't have the time in his schedule to do that stuff.
Some outfits he wears when he's not working
Usually dark colored outfits.
When he was a kid, he only lived with his mom, so they probably didn't have the money for any cool outfits, and in his school, judging from this, they all had school uniforms
And being emo, of course, isn't just how you dress, but of course, how you act as well, being dramatic, etc.
Technically he only does this in the anime, but in the manga it's still pretty dramatic
And also how he reacted to losing his faith in Kira and getting caught
