nothing joel mchale says or does in stargirl s3 is funny until the reveal when it becomes retroactively the greatest dark comedy ever made. every unfunny bit he does is suddenly hysterical because he's trying to play toys but one of the toys is a human corpse and the only way he can play is by doing improv because the second the jig is up he's going to have to kill like 20 people

remember how the shade got really indignant over the idea that he had killed someone and kept acting really offended by the very idea and then it turned out that he fully believed the guy in question died and he was just mad because his intention was to save him. he thought he fucked up rescuing someone so bad that he killed him by accident but was still like "excuse me. you weren't there. you don't know what happened" whenever someone would accuse him of killing the guy he thought he did kill. and then when that other guy was actually rescued dickie faked his own death for dramatic effect. greatest character on earth perhaps
