I know technically Maxwell Lord has already been casted, but here’s my fancast! Jason Bateman! He literally has the PERFECT looks for Max. The same hair, eyebrows, face shape, eye color (most of the time, Max’s eyes switch between blue and brown) AND even smile!! Jason Bateman has played a lot of scheme-y, dry-witted and sarcastic characters before, which fits Max perfectly! Especially in the early JLI days. If only he could do a voice like Charles Foster Kane from Citizen Kane, (which he probably could do), he would be absolutely PERFECT!!
