This is a genius idea.
In breath of the wild, there is a shirne buried under a mound at the top of a cliff in the Faron region. It is often a thunderstorm there. You are instructed by Kass to call down lightning to strike the mound so you can access the shrine. I consumed the most powerful electric resistance elixir I had on me, made sure I had full health, wore all metal armor, stood atop the mound at the top of the cliff, and flipped of the sky. It worked perfectly.
It was only later it occurred to me that I could have just dropped a metal sword up there and left, but hindsight is 20/20 and all that.
He’s just here because he has nothing better to do.
