Fighter: Hey, that guy you were talking to, what was his name?
Druid: His horse’s name is Buttercup.
Fighter: That… wasn’t what I asked.
Druid: Well, it’s the information I got.

TRICK OR TREAT
Trick AND Treat: Here is the Portsmouth Sinfonian's attempt at playing Richard Strauss' Also sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30 after they swapped instruments. https://youtu.be/hpJ6anurfuw
i dont know if you’ve been asked this before, i’m sorry if you have, but how do you animate from like, keyframe to keyframe without SFM automatically making the movement transition smoothly between poses? I taught myself SFM without rlly using any tutorials so I hope I’m making sense, I don’t know the right termenology.
you’re using the right terminology! in your case, it seems that you’re looking for how to block your poses, rather than spline them. i’ll explain it assuming that your keyboard shortcuts are unedited
in SFM, your poses will be splined by default, so what you’ll need to do is go to the graph editor (hotkey: F4) and set the keymode from spline to stepped (note: this feature is a bit buggy, i find that it’s more successful if you do this before you even load your model):
if your poses ever spline themselves (it’s gonna happen), select the affected frames and press 4 to turn them into stepped tangents (press 3 to spline tangents if you need to):
i also highly recommend going through jesse baumgartner’s youtube channel. he regularly uploads his works in progress and it helped me understand the 3D animation workflow (it’s also very motivating to see an animation in its early stages, showcasing how rough the progression is):
you need any more help, don’t be afraid to ask me!
do u go to lawrence uni? b/c your post mentioned moodle...

uh i mean, when ur complimenting someone's shooting skills, especially with a bow, you normally point out their accuracy/aim... whenever anyone says "you're pretty handy with X" it is referring to their handiwork. which can only go two ways. one, it's just a compliment (but nonetheless a more rare one) or two, and more likely, its seen as an innuendo. even if its not reciprocated, i think that its mccree flirting with a dude and therefore its not /just/ a pointless character interaction...
this is such a reach honestly
I can't figure out how to hex the first model. I've never hexed before but I looked up the deviantart tutorial that everyone seems to link to and I can't figure it out still. Help ;n;
I hexed it this time around, in the future there might be a hexing guide or video that'll go onto this blog because of how intimidating it all is with using a Hex Editor. Here's the link!
guess what
