The modern concept of darwinian evolution is nothing but an embellished fantasy that came from the fertile imagination of one man.
Ray Comfort
Something I hear often from atheists is the phrase “settled science.”…
Let’s begin with a basic question: what do the words “settled science” mean?
to place so as to stay (Merriam-Webster)
not likely to change or move (Oxford Dictionary)
A settled situation or system stays the same all the time (Collins Dictionary)
We’ve already seen that the definition of science is knowledge, so we could define settled science as knowledge that stays the same and is not likely to change or move…
Does Darwinian evolution meet the definition of knowledge that stays the same and is not likely to change or move? Based on the 150+ years of debate about the topic, I would say the answer to that is an overwhelming NO. Darwinian evolution is NOT settled science. There are many scientists who would say Darwinian evolution is not even good science, but it is certainly not settled knowledge.
~ Mark McGee
intellectual straight men are so weird sometimes
I’m working on an assignment for my bio class where I have to look for instances in media where someone mixes up Darwinian and Lamarckian evolution, and this guy in an article I’m reading starts talking about need-based evolution, giving the example that women haven’t developed tails because they have no use for them. Then he goes on to state this, word for word: “even though it would make them even more alluring than they are.” Like, homeboy is out here talking about evolution and scientific intellectualism, then just straight-up outs himself as a furry
Stellan Ottosson svéd szerző magyarul frissen megjelent Darwin-életrajza érdekes, de meglehetősen egyoldalú képet ad az evolúcióelmélet atyjáról, a tudósról, apáról, angolról, ateistáról és teológusról.

America's Transformation into a Collectivist Mystical Pantheist God-State
America’s Transformation into a Collectivist Mystical Pantheist God-State
By Linda Kimball
“The announcement of the death of God was the obituary of a useless single-minded and one-dimensional norm of a civilization that has been predominantly monotheistic, not only in its religion, but also in its politics, its history, its social order, its ethics, and its psychology. When released from the tyrannical imperialism of monotheism by the death of God, man has the…

By irreducibly complex I mean a single system composed of several well-matched, interacting parts that contribute to the basic function, wherein the removal of any one of the parts causes the system to effectively cease functioning. An irreducibly complex system cannot be produced directly (that is, by continuously improving the initial function, which continues to work by the same mechanism) by slight, successive modifications of a precursor system, because any precursor to an irreducibly complex system that is missing a part is by definition nonfunctional. An irreducibly complex biological system, if there is such a thing, would be a powerful challenge to Darwinian evolution.
