So many 'Darshinis' in Bangalore.  Offering delicious hot and fresh breakfast.  Lunch, Snacks and Dinner as well.

Darshini mainly caters to South Indians.  Especially for breakfast.  The lunch and dinner, which they say is 'multi-cuisine', offers North Indian dishes and some Chainees Chinese variety.

Where is the South Indian Variety, I say?

There are numerous hotels offering Rotis, Gobi Manchuris, Malai Koftas, Fried Rice.  But where are the hotels where I can order 1 plate Sambhar, 1 Rasam, Rice, (any vegetable) Palya, Pachadi etc?  Why is South Indian variety restricted only to breakfast items?  Any South Indian main course type dishes are all part of "South Indian Thaali" which more often than not are not available for dinner. 

A friend of mine once said, our moms make all the South Indian main course dishes better at home so why bother eating out?  Hello, how about giving your mom some rest?  Also, there are times when you unexpectedly need to have dinner out and when you think of having simple homely food, there are no places.  Except for some food caterers where you need to parcel stuff.

It would be nice, for a change, to have restaurant that serves all South Indian dishes, that isn't a part of meals or thaalis.
