i’ll take the stupid fucking knife from your hand, laying limply at your side, your once heavy breathing now shallow and sharp and wheezing. twirl it about in my hand before slamming it down to the hilt through the hand of yours that once tried to bear it down against me. what are you now, a failure even when you cheat, hoping to postpone fate with subterfuge and only attracting its anger tenfold. i can tell you feel the way the knife’s jammed itself between your bones and tendons, the way the veins in your hand have snapped and are gushing red blood you really do not have the excess to spare against the floor, but you dont have the strength left to even grit your teeth against it. you lay there, losing breath, losing blood, losing consciousness, and having lost the whole fucking gamble. it’ll take me a while to even consider taking measures to stop you from losing your life. as i pace back and forth lengthwise beside your body, gritting my teeth a battle between truly fucking wanting your death on my hands versus wanting to prolong it past a single empty night, as my hands are still aching to do more and who could i ever hurt so wantonly as you. it makes me sick, you make me sick, you make me sicker than i’ve ever been, as i finally give in and fix you up for the sake of the next fight.
