romance is nice but I honestly don't know if I can handle it right now. laying together in the early hours of the morning, a slow dance in the kitchen after dinner. it all sits too heavily in my chest. can we just, for now, sit next to each other in the backseat of the car so when the driver takes a hard turn I lean into you? can I stay there, on your shoulder, for just a second too long?

late night cuddles are really cute. whispering sweet nothings and sleepy kisses. when he's all sleepy and he snuggles up against you, so you kiss his forehead and run your fingers through his hair. falling asleep with him in your arms, knowing he'll still be there when you wake up.
