More prompts by @deniigi ! This time its "You saw nothing." Also as a heads up, this one's courtesy of Dark!Matt.
"Matt, I have to go!" Foggy gestured wildly about.
"I'll be okay! You can't keep thinking there are demons around every corner."
"I can't let you get hurt." Tears were welling up in Matt's eyes.
"I have to. It's for our client. She's counting on us."
"I won't let you." Matt's voice deepened, touching on the Daredevil growl.
"What are you going to do, make me?"
"But you'll try." Foggy rolled his eyes, and made for the door.
Matt grabbed his wrist. "Please."
Foggy jerked his hand away. He went to grab the doorknob.
That was the wrong thing to do. Matt pounced. He grabbed both of Foggy's hands and forced his arms behind his back, drawing Foggy into a hug, burying his face into Foggy's neck. Foggy felt tears soak into his shirt, and Matt whispering please please please.
Foggy thrashed against Matt, trying to break Matt's grip, but it was useless. Then Foggy screamed.
"Foggy, Foggy, please, stop screaming," Matt said as he gagged Foggy with his pocket square. Matt removed his tie, then used it to tie Foggy's hands together.
Then Foggy started to cry.
"Please, please, please don't cry." Matt brushed away the tears. He then hoisted up Foggy on his shoulder. Foggy attempted to kick and knee at Matt, but it was like kicking a stone wall. Matt then sat Foggy down on his bed, grabbing his legs, and picking a belt off the floor, bound Foggy's legs together.
Matt went back to hugging Foggy, running his fingers through his hair. "I can't let you go, I can't let you get hurt," Matt muttered, as if that made any of this okay. And then, louder, more sincere. "I'm sorry." They sat like that for a while, Foggy sobbing, Matt absentmindedly running his fingers through Foggy's hair.
Then a knock came from the door.
Foggy wanted to scream at whoever it was to run. Matt was dangerous, and Foggy didn't want anyone else getting caught up in this. Matt got up, leaving Foggy on his bed, and opened the door.
"Hey Karen. What's up?" That made it worse. She needed to run. Karen wouldn't run, though.
"I'm supposed to be meeting with Foggy right now. What are you doing here?"
"Waiting for Foggy." Lying bastard. Foggy was here already, just a bit tied up at the moment.
Karen's footsteps echoed against the hardwood floor, bringing her into the living room, and then, she turned.
"What the fuck?!" She shouted.
Foggy and her made eye contact. She started walking over to him. Foggy tried to convey to her that Matt had finally snapped, to go away, get away, she can't fight Matt on her own.
But Matt had snuck up behind her, pulled her away from the room, then closed the door. His eyes did their best to meet Karen.
Karen cleared her throat, then spoke, measuredly. "Matt, why is Foggy tied up in his own bedroom?"
Matt turned his head away. "You saw nothing."
