They’re tense, standing against the wall of the club, eyes daring around the crowd, the lights and music and shine disorienting, and Dante wonders how they’re supposed to feel better in any of this. Really, they still want to be at home, hiding under the covers with their phone and laptop turned off so they can’t look at the endless scrolling of their twitter and instagram mentions. Standing against the wall, however, isn’t a good way to meet people, and Dante finally gathers their courage, stepping forward and into the throng of people.
