On October 7th, 2017 I drew the first traditional version of this piece with nothing but markers, pens, and colored pencils. On October 6th, 2019 I did a digital redraw of it. I love them both so much still to this day.
This is live footage of me at every dance audition I’ve ever attended.
(I miss performing so much I think I’d be thrilled to do a dance audition at this point 😅)
Dance Call is my favorite limit in Kingdom Hearts 2. I drew this for last Halloween to celebrate the season and give love to my favorite limit :D

So I had an audition yesterday and the dance call was super fun- here’s my problem.
When I learn a dance, I struggle with hitting all the moves until I can walk away from it for a while. Then when I come back, I’m good. I’ve got it all. I need that break in order for my brain to process and lock everything in before I can actually perform to my best ability. At an audition, you don’t exactly get that time. Unfortunately.
But I got it now!

Hi Christine. I have an audition for a performing arts high school coming up in December and it involves a dance audition. I'm pretty good at dancing but at the Hairspray/Dirty Dancing type dancing. Is this appropriate for an audition? If not what are the appropriate genres?
Usually for auditions, they will do a dance call where they teach you a combination and you perform it! I’ve never heard of an audition where you have to bring in your own dance!
