Walk Cycle-final reflective entry
To do the walk cycle, it was necessary search and see references like in any other animation, but made our own thumbnails analyzing the main keys of the animation also helps and a lot. Using those is more easy to have something to start with, and plan it. To later adjust and add the in-betweens. And for the next time, it would probably helps include more if I had draw more thumbnails than just the key poses, though according to the feedback received I was doing well, just need the in-betweens. On the other hand, maybe if I receive more feedback after adding the keys it would help to had a better result, because there is always a possibility of a better result.
Considering the target audience will be always depends on what kind people it target, in this case a walk cycle is targeting everyone because as it's showing a way to walk in a simple format in that way it's alright for all audience. If this was a different project, where the target where just adults for example then the material could include more stuff, details and it could be not apt for children while something that is targeted to children, then it could be as simple as this but with more delicate stuff, to make it enjoyable for they.
As for the animation principle it used anticipation, Straight Ahead & Pose to Pose, arcs, Secondary Action, and Timing. The anticipation is in each key pose and that's also came with the straight ahead and pose to pose principal where it's define by the key poses of the animation, though in this project was used the pose to pose more than the straight ahead part. Then are the arc because it show a movement that it's in an arc, for secondary action it will be the movement of the hands that goes together with the legs when it walks, and finally timing to have the correct time in the walk and turn into a cycle.
