Bouncy Sugar Gnome!
My Bouncing Ball animation assignment
My lecturer said that we get extra points for creativity and extra effort, so I animated a Sugar Gnome reacting and bouncing to the balls!
It's a bit wonky, the size of the gnome changed and I forgot to adjust it. I did all of this whilst being really sick haha...
I'm practicing/learning how to create animations and wanted to share this tiny bouncing ball animation I created with you guys! And yes, it's wearing a tiny IR hat because why not.π
I sped this gif up considerably to make it fit, but know that the bouncing ball animation is going slow as hell.
The Transactor January 1986
Along with this issue's scientific and mathematical articles (including a review of a planetarium program that could calculate the night sky "anywhere on Earth, at any time, any date, in any year, in the past or future by 10,000 years", Karl J.H. Hildon's editorial looked, if not at an actual Amiga, at "an edited video of the official launch held at Lincoln Center in New York. Commodore's spending curbs were but a myth at this show." He was quite impressed with the Amiga's audiovisual capabilities and the demonstration of a IBM PC emulator, and hoped "the calibre of this machine will help Commodore regain the healthy dealer relationship they'll need to attain the success the Amiga deserves."
