Take the list as a to-do or an example of how to make your own. This is about taking actionable steps so small achievable chunks. Take credit for every action, tallies work great for this.

Answer what your story needs
Last week was about asking questions that your story needs to be answered, hopefully you’ve thought about them a little bit because now I want you to try to answer them.
These don’t have to be super well-thought-out scene by scene plot ideas. Just answering questions that you may need to research or brainstorming for. Spend some time figuring out the name of that character, ages, what a location is like and so on.
Deep cleaning
By this point, I hope that you've already started doing some of the decluttering and cleaning on your lists from the previous weeks.
Now I want you to pick a few things to deep clean to really freshen the space. Those things that need to be done every 6 months, and after you do it, you realize just how dirty it was.
Get into the back of that drawer, clean the hair out of the shower drain, scrub down the stove top, anything that you know needs done, and you've been neglecting.
Get a couple of those out of the way to make your space feel nicer.
Clear friction from creation
I spoke about both types of friction in earlier weeks, but now I want to focus on friction, and you are creative process, because this retreat is about you making things.
I want you to do an experiment. I want you to physically go to the place that you create things, and open/ get out everything that you would need to start creating. And then I want you to think about all the steps you just took.
Was there anything that got in your way? How many clicks did it take you to get to your WIP? How many more to get to your notes? Are all your notes in one place? Did you have to go searching for them? If you're doing art, is all of your art supplies in one place or do you have to get them out of three or four drawers.
I want you to spend a little while you're trying to make path from deciding to create to actually creating as smooth and easy as possible.
Do you need a bookmark? Do you need a bookmark folder? Do you need a basket for your supplies? Do you need a wall of links on a page (Notion, doc)? Do you need a big bottle of water? Do you need a playlist?
I want to really think about each step and clear the way for easy creation pickup.
Freezer meal prep
At this point you should have your meal plan, and if any of it could be made and frozen ahead of time now would be a great time to do that. Either double your dinner or spend a couple of hours freezing meals ahead first future you.
