Splitting up from Arima or Aogiri members had become another routine during this whole commotion. How many times had she tried to attack a giant beast, or taken out a whole group of those so called drones with just a flick of her wrist?
It was becoming mundane, even for her.
Kill something here, attack something over there, take a rest to devour whatever poor corpses were nearby, rinse and repeat. Even when with an ally, things were monotonous and predictable.
This city was just like Tokyo.
Her monstrous form, that of Owl, was no serving another purpose, however. It was one that served her, yes, but this was no mission of revenge or retrieval, but one of pure destruction. She just wanted to wreak as much havoc for this city’s current problem as she could, and then reap the rewards from it. Said rewards being her own safety, and the further validation of Aogiri within the city.
Her kakuja form had been returned to her, but she deduced that it would only be for a short while, so she had to use it to its full potential. That meant no wasting her time with trivialities, no hesitation.
It was easy for her to remained solely focused, given her experience on the subject; so even when the massive, grotesque form of her kakuja skidded into what remained of a neighborhood to bat some drones out of the air like flies, she gave all her attention to such nuisances. Try as they may, the drones were crushed under the weight of her claw, the entire cluster falling to her brute strength in a matter of seconds.
As her claw hit the cement, remnants of drones under her, she scanned the immediate area, looking for any more threats before moving on. A few straggling citizens that were unlucky enough to be in the same area fled, both from the threat of the drones and the threat that was Owl, but a few dawdled -- stunned from her sudden appearance and her assistance. Did they believe something so horrific could have saved them? Or were they too busy pissing themselves in fear?
She didn’t care.
Or, she assumed she didn’t, until her glancing turned into eye contact with a familiar face. Sigma Klim. The man who had saved her from an oncoming car, the man who made cat puns, the man she was neighbors with, and who she’d spent the flower festival with.
What a coincidence.
“Are you lost, little kitty?” The deep growl that was the voice of Owl spoke, her eye clearly staring directly at the man. She knew he would have no idea who she was -- there was no way he could know that the petite Takatsuki Sen was one and the same of the beast before him.
It was a little funny, at least to Eto.
