Random question that came to me: How did Heather and Dagur get Oswald’s diary? It should’ve been impossible.
As we know, once you get on Vanaheim, you can’t get out. Sure, the dragon riders managed to escape but Oswald? No dragons. No help. So how could he possibly get his diary off the island?
The diary had Sentinel sketches and the skull of the King of Dragons. Both of which are very hard to draw without reference. So the diary must have come from the island. One of the possibilities is Oswald put the diary in some sort of box that could float, like a message in a bottle. That could get away from the Sentinels. But to a specific island such as Berserker Island? Chances are slim to none. But if he did let the diary just go adrift in the ocean letting get to any island, can you imagine the trouble Heather and Dagur went through just to find the diary? Obviously, he couldn’t use Terror mail or ride the Sentinels to Berserker Island. He probably earned their respect but I doubt the Sentinels would’ve left their island. So yeah, that’s my theory. He probably let the diary drift to anywhere in the archipelago.
