Amongst other things in the voltron fandom this is one thing I have never seen mentioned. Pidge has a mom. Not just a brother and dad but, as far as we know her moms okay physically anyways. Mentally though she must be a mess because she lost the love of her life and her son. After that her daughter wouldn’t just mourn with her. She was rebellious and wouldn’t stop looking for an answer. Then she goes to the garrison. (Pidge probably need parental permission but she had a fake Identity so we dont know what her mom knew. Did pidge just disappear or did she know and help her. If she did know she got letters from pidge and then they just stoped. She looked and since she went in as pidge not Katie she didnt get very far. Shes alone with no one around her. Her family is lost. She is alone. Does she have any siblings of her own? Mama Holt guys. Just think about that.
Consider, on this day that we were gifted Katherine 'Pidge' Holt; learning what happened to Commander Samuel Holt bc honestly Matt and Pidge and their mom get a lot of focus but I am somewhat sure Commander Holt is dead??? where is he???

What if when Matt or Pidge finally find their dad he's turned into some kind of alien/mutant/robot experiment thing and tries to help them/reveal himself but they think he's trying to attack them and they don't realize who he is it until its too late??????!!!!!!
