Hey! I love your blog! / β if it's not too much of a hassle. ^_^
aw thank u love! of course I gotcha ^-^ <3
your blog reminds me of quiet nights with a single candle burning, velvet hair ties, black rimmed glasses, peppermint chapstick, sun showers, old studio ghibli movies, simple golden jewelry, soft red lipstick, and the lingering taste of wax after eating a piece of honeycomb. ~

I just bs-ed my way through two tests and I have a workshop to attend on Thurs and Fri. Then spend the weekend trying to finish up pending assignments that I've procrastinated on until this moment
good luck lmao ;; my plans for the coming days are to study sanskrit (i'm never touching it again after the finals on saturday), watch sherlock (FINALLY), read up on procrastination & wash my hair (i have to set 4 reminders for this ish)
Here's to new habits, a new book that I'm drafting instead of turning the leaf to a new chapter.
This is to the reignited love for poetry, shorter hair, and romanticising my life. To Bougainvillea boughs in interesting places, Jawaab-e-Shikwa and sunlit Sundays.

Got some work done, brought back a litre of cold brew and will finish my week strong.
Feeling incredibly grateful for my family and SO today. Couldn't have survived my unemployment phase without their support.

The spring cleaning list, when I cleaned up.
I worked through the weekend, and will be intentionally unplugging/going into cleaning mode after 8:15 PM tonight.
Work hours are crazy in India, so please don't @ me darlings.

As the pandemic beats my career to the ground and I sit unemployed at the age of 25, here's what I'm doing instead of letting the existential angst wash over me (it washes over me at least once in two days, I'm not invincible):
- I'm taking three courses on Coursera: two pertaining to educational technology and one about Sustainable Development.
As an aspiring educator, it's necessary to acquaint myself with the junctions of education, technology, policy, philosophy and everything in between. The sustainability one is for my own sake, because I get childlike joy at anything that's got to do with environmental education.
- I'm cultivating better relationships: with social media, my friends and family, my sense of self and my significant other.
There's an unfortunate rise of the right in the world, and with that all liberal and expansive thought has left the discourse as far as my country is concerned. I've lost a lot of friends to this but it's good riddance. I'd rather not be surrounded by people who don't even wince at lynchings of minorities but want to talk of (non-intersectional) feminism.
- I'm learning to speak up again: and learning to rely on myself. It's a slow journey but I'm sure we'll be fine.
